Meet two Belgian light design experts – DARK and BRICK IN THE WALL
Back in July, we were invited by our friends at Enigma Lighting to visit two of the best contemporary lighting specialists in Belgium. Learning a lot about the story behind the companies, their values and vision, what they aim to achieve, and, saw the magic of the production process. Our interior design team also had the pleasure of meeting the lovely people involved in the making of these stunning designer light fittings. And of course, we’re here to share all of these with you!

As the name represents, BRICK IN THE WALL create light fittings, that make construction elements, like walls, literally glow. BRICK IN THE WALL® develops it plasters with incredible characteristics. Luckily, our interior designers got the chance to see how quick and easy, but very thoughtful the making process is. DARK is a Belgian company that specialises in Interior and Architectural Lighting, plus developing some of the greatest Hospitality Concept. With over 80 International Awards, they caught our eye and reminded our interior design team again how fun and striking design can be.
By playing with simple socket and use of different materials, DARK aims to create striking, out of the box light solutions. Everything in their range is customizable, and they are always up for a challenge to please even the most robust client. In other words, bringing personality and authenticity to space, one has to be bold and brave when choosing finishes, materials or fittings. But, most importantly be passionate and have fun when creating, which is what our interior designers strive for.
